Tuesday's Max

Today, although a great day, was never ending. Waking Max up at 6 AM was like putting a dagger in my heart. I just got him to sleep through the night, mostly, and then I had to wake him from his blissful slumber. Not that he seemed to mind. He just woke up with that angelic smile and laugh. We shlepped to my parents, where he loves to hang out with my dad, and then I shlepped into work. It took close to 2 hours to get back from the suburbs to the city and thank god Max slept the entire car ride. He's amazing. I'm so lucky. I feel like he was gipped today out of quality mommy time. I feel like I was gipped out of quality Maxy time. This working mom thing is definitely a challenge. I have a whole new respect for working moms everywhere.
